It’s been a while since Ultra Moon interrupted my nuzlocke run, so I’ll do my best to remember the circumstances around team changes.
Zebstrika (female): Callida, sassy. She had a very close call lately, but will probably be great in the water gym.
Todd the Swanna died… pretty sure it was after the flying gym, because while I was worried about getting another water type, it turned out more were just round the corner. Meanwhile, Mosey the Sandslash did extremely well in battle, and I became more nervous about risking Ramona the Audino.
Grumpig (male): Basil, docile. A great team addition (and a psychic type I was excited to try)! but he got OHKO’d at the dragon gym shortly thereafter.
My reaction…. well… overcorrection, I thought at first. That is to say, evolving Emerald the Steelix, teaching her Ice Fang via move reminder, and training her up to lv60, each and every level gaining her +5 Defense til it seemed ridiculous.
….She still had a tough time with the gym leader. But she did do it nearly all by herself!
Jellicent (male): Fred, sassy. Very good moveset. He died to a Lunatone I was trying to catch… I named it appropriately.
Wailord (male): Mobius, hardy. Caught as a Wailmer. Boy is he challenging to draw in a team scene.
Cobalion: Kawbraa, rash. Named after the (text box) sound they kept making whenever I encountered them.
